What We Do

Our events include a monthly meeting with a display of horticulture from our yards, floral arrangements, a business meeting, and an informational gardening program or workshop.

We are concerned about natural resources and sponsor Rid-Litter Days with the town in April. We also co-sponsor the Mother’s Day Plant Sale in May at the Ballard Greenhouse with the Ridgefield Garden Club. Caudatowa members help to beautify Ridgefield by planting and caring for Town Hall planters, the Veterans’ Garden in front of the Lounsbury House, Ballard Greenhouse plantings, the Main Street Clock bonnet, the garden in front of the Ballard Green Housing Clubhouse, the Pollinator Pathway Garden at Richardson Park as well as a number of decorative triangles at street corners and small gardens around town.

We present a yearly scholarship to a Ridgefield High School graduate and give annual donations to conservation and garden projects.

Our informational gardening programs will be open to the public.

Programs are held on the second Tuesday of the month at 11 am from September to May.  This is an opportunity to learn and also meet our club members.
